Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026
This page is maintained by Salo Society to explain how we use cookies and similar technologies on salosociety.com.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let websites remember you between visits — for example, what's in your cart or that you're signed in.
2. Categories we use
- Essential — always on. Required for sign-in, cart, checkout handoff to Shopify, and currency selection. The site does not work without them.
- Analytics — only with your consent. Help us understand which pages are most useful so we can improve them. Data is aggregated.
- Marketing — only with your consent. Let us tailor offers and remember items you've looked at across visits.
3. Third parties
Shopify (checkout), Supabase (session), and any analytics or marketing tool you consent to may set cookies under their own domains. Their privacy notices apply when you interact with them.
4. Manage your choices
You can change your cookie preferences at any time:
You can also clear cookies in your browser settings.
5. Do Not Track
Because there is no industry consensus on how to handle "Do Not Track" signals, we currently rely on the choices you make in the cookie banner.
